I picked this engine up recently and can’t find too much information about it. Some people have told me it’s a Jacobsen 2-cylinder, 2-stroke engine off of a reel-type mower. Any input would be greatly appreciated, including when it was made, for how long and what it was used for. Is it a rare engine, as some have suggested? It turns over easy and has compression, but I haven’t tried to start it yet.
