To safe guard your engine new or old, if you have a pressure
system, either magneto or battery engine type, use an ordinary oil
sensor of the idiot light variety. You will now need to install a
pipe-T in the oil pressure tap of your tractor engine. One end of
the T-install your sensor switch, the other end install to a line
running to your oil pressure gauge. Next use an insulated wire,
tapping off to the magneto condensor. Now run this wire to the one
post on the oil pressure sensor switch. Run another insulated wire
to the other post of the condensor switch. The last wire run to one
end of a two way toggle switch. Next, run a ground wire to engine
or frame of tractor and connect it to the center of post of toggle
switch. The other end post of a two way toggle switch should be
connected directly to the magneto condensor. You now have three
positions on your toggle switch:

Neutral (straight out) is your start position.

Start Stop whichever wire that you install on the ends of toggle
switch will determine your stop and run positions.

(SEE DIAGRAM)

In addition, on the oil sensor for the battery ignition engine
points are normally closed. On the idiot lite variety, points are
normally open.
