A Gravely engine removed from a scrapped Gravely garden tractor.

Year: 1947 
Horsepower: 5 at 1640 RPM
Bore: 3-1/4-inch
Stroke: 3-1/2-inch
Ignition: Bendix-Scintilla magneto
Valve arrangement: T-head
Additional info: Engine was removed from scrapped Gravely garden tractor to make a stationary engine. Installed small fan, flywheel with pulley, and gas tank. Next adapted pulley nut to accept hand crank for starting, then mounted the engine and magneto on homemade engine cart. To make the display stand out, the inverted brass vase for the exhaust muffler was modified.
