We recently received word from the International Harvester
Collectors that the 4th annual Red Power Round Up of the IH
Collectors will be held September 9-12, 1993 at Boonville,
Missouri, in conjunction with the Missouri River Valley Steam
Engine Association’s 30th anniversary show.
Show planners expect over 500 IH exhibits to be at the
Roundup.
The IH Collectors Club was formed in July 1990 to preserve the
history of International Harvester Co., and began with 200 members.
The Club has grown to include 2300 members, and the group hopes
that this year’s Roundup will be the largest gathering of IH
equipment, tractors and memorabilia in the U.S.
This past February, the annual winter convention at Elgin,
Illinois drew about 1000 people, including several IH retirees.
Attractions included vendors offering toys, parts, literature and
other IH related items, plus a sheet metal repair clinic. This
convention was hosted by Chapter #2, whose board of directors
thanks all who attended.

Collectors, RR 2, Box 286, Winamac, IN 46996.
