When I read my article in the December 1995 issue, I noticed
that I introduced ‘Old Time Farm Fest’ of Fountain City,
Wisconsin, with Arlen Schmitt as President, as Branch 78. Their
number should be Branch 68. Sorry about the mistake.

As the 1995 show season is over, I would like to share with you
some information about my local show. Branch 16 shows in
conjunction with the ‘Ozarks Steam Engine Association.’ We
had 13 large steam engines this year, and each engine was used to
thresh, saw lumber and many other activities during the show. Our
antique tractors exhibit drew close to 200 this year, with 90
tractors taking part in the Antique Tractor Pull on Saturday night.
We had over 450 gas engines, ranging from Maytags to a 125 HP
Cooper Bessemer.

Branch 16 is looking forward and making plans to host the
National in 1996. Dates for the show are September 12, 13, 14,
& 15, 1996. We are 12 miles southwest of Springfield, Missouri,
and 45 miles north of Branson, Missouri. Wilson’s Creek
National Battlefield is only 1 mile from our show grounds. So plan
your vacation for September 1996, and come visit us in the
Ozarks.

I’ll try to have dates and locations of all Regional meets
in the next issue.
