You may enjoy this photo of the engine assembly at the Novo
Engine Company of Lansing, Michigan, circa 1920. My
father-in-law, George Alger, is at the extreme left in the
photo.

At one time, I worked in the Novo pattern shop. Subsequently, I
owned three of the one cylinder Novo engines, one being on a pump
rig, and entered them in the Central Michigan Antique Tractor &
Engine shows.

I have subscribed to GEM since its inception in 1966. A very
interesting and informative magazine.
