The Historical Construction Equipment Association will hold
their annual convention in Brownsville, Pennsylvania August 13-15,
1999. This convention brings together antique construction
equipment from the United States and Canada. Steam and gas shovels,
crawler tractors, bulldozers, graders, trucks and many other relics
of the past will be in operation at the convention. The show is
held in conjunction with the National Pike Steam, Gas and Horse
Association’s annual summer show, which features many exhibits
of farming equipment from past eras.

Highlights of the 1999 HCEA convention include an Erie B steam
shovel, a gathering of Caterpillar Sixty tractors, and a flea
market area featuring parts for old equipment. Model and toy
construction equipment will be displayed by members of the HCEA. A
buffet dinner will be held on site Saturday night. A large
gathering of equipment is expected and the crowd nears 5,000
attendees.

There will be live entertainment, models and displays. All
Caterpillar Sixty Tractors and owners are especially invited. For
further information, call 724-356-2307.
