Eureka 2-stroke drag saw engine.

I just acquired this engine and know next to nothing about it. All I know is that it’s an air-cooled, 2-stroke drag saw engine made in Eureka, Calif. As the picture shows, the saw part is missing, but it does run. The engine’s patent number indicates it was made around 1945, which is about the time chainsaws were first being made. I don’t think many of these engines were made, and I’ve never seen another one.

If anyone out there knows anything more about this engine, feel free to contact me.
