This 1926 Caterpillar Thirty is owned by Paul Luckman of
Walworth, New York, a Director of the Pioneer Gas Engine
Association. The original owner logged a large tract of timber near
Paulaski, N.Y. He also used it on a sawmill (built in 1886) until
1960. Paul bought it in 1963. He rebuilt the magneto and did some
work on the tracks. It has been shown at the PGEA reunions the last
three years. Sorry Paul wasn’t present when the picture was
taken!

About 45 people were present. Not all of the bills of the reunion
are in, so a complete financial report will be reported at a later
date. However the new location proved to be successful, and it was
voted to hold the 1967 reunion at the same place. The dates will be
July 28, 29 and 30.
There were discussions on forming local subsidiary branches
under the auspices of the Pioneer. This was referred to the Board
of Directors with the vote of approval to form such
organizations.
A nominating committee was named to pick a slate of officers and
three Directors to be voted on at the next meeting on November 6th.
This will be the annual meeting. A complete financial report will
be given at that time.
