A Special Edition IH Model 656 Collector Replica has been
announced to commemorate the 13th Ontario Toy Show & Auction,
to be held in Woodstock, Ontario, on the weekend of August 28,
1998. This exclusive model is authorized by Case Corporation only
for the Woodstock Show, so collectors will have just one
opportunity to obtain this special limited edition.
The 1/16 scale model will feature a new
die cast ROPS with canopy, plus a newly detailed gasoline engine
and floor boards. New front end weights and large rear tires will
also be featured, making this unit a very desirable collector item.
Die cast by Scale Models, the replica will have an inscription
‘Ontario Show, 8-30-98, Woodstock’ cast into the unit. As
in the past, a Canadian ‘Maple Leaf Medallion will be mounted
on each tractor as a seal of authenticity.
A limited quantity will be produced, based on the number of
orders processed. Orders received before July 15 will be available
by the show date in August. Later sales will be shipped in
November.
