National Vice President 3848 South Farm Road 93 Republic,
Missouri 65738

We are happy to have three new branches coming into the
National. Gerald Loe, 5025 100th Street, Maynard, Minnesota 56260,
serves as president of Branch 86. Lester Pierce, Rt. 1, Box 78A,
Stanberry, Missouri 64489, serves as president of Branch 87. It is
good to have another branch in my home state of Missouri. Also,
Lester has written many articles for the magazine over the years.
James Gotterfield, 814 N. Albert Pike, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72903,
serves as president of Branch 90.

The Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Association presents the
National Gas and Steam Hall of Fame. This is to honor the ones who
have maintained an interest in our early American heritage. The
Hall of Fame is open to anyone, and the person does not have to be
a member of EDGE & TA. The nominee should be someone who:

1. Has dedicated many years of service to our hobby.
2. Does an outstanding job of collecting, restoring and
showing his/her collection.
3. Has been a big help to fellow members of your group.
4. Someone that, in your opinion, deserves to be recognized.

Send the resume of your nominee to: Jerry Wymore, 933 W.
Military, Fremont, Nebraska 68025.

The resume needs to be in 45 days before the National Meet,
which is October 3, 4 & 5, 1997 at Fort Scott, Kansas, hosted
by Branch 17. Hurry and get those entries in!
