Members of Branch 18 of the Early Day Gas Engine & Tractor
Association are already busy with the preparations for hosting the
1998 National EDGE&TA Show & Business Meeting scheduled for
June 12-14.
This National show will be held at the Fairgrounds in
Chowchilla, California, which is located on Highway 99 in the
center of the state of California, being equal distances between
San Francisco and Los Angeles.
In addition, the visitors to this National show are encouraged
to visit the Ag Museum only 10 miles away. This new museum has
recently been built up by Charlie Parrish, an active member of
Branch 18. Here you will find a variety of antique engines and
related machines used during the past century in a frontier
setting. Mr. Parrish has spent considerable time and money to make
this a very attractive museum of California history. It is a
‘must see’ for all lovers of old iron. Charlie and his wife
