Rescued In Texas

| August/September 1996

2907 Avenue H Snyder, Texas 79549

I rescued this J.I. Case 1953 Model LA tractor from a scrap iron yard in San Angelo, Texas. It certainly looked like the scrap yard was where it belonged, too.

Unfortunately, I have no 'before' pictures, since I had an office building burned down by vandals, losing a lot of valuable and sentimental things the original rescue pictures of this tractor among them.

This tractor, which came with a factory-equipped LPG system, furnishes belt power for the 1909 J.I. Case 32x54 thresher pictured on page 32 of Gas Engine Magazine of May 1993, at a number of shows.
