This photo is of a 1929 Rumely Oil Pull restored by John
Stefanyk of 13311-116 St., Edmonton, Alberta, Canada T5E 5H8.
According to an article in the Edmonton journal, Stefanyk bought
the tractor in 1976 for $350 as a ‘retirement project.’
Through the process, Stefanyk bought a parts tractor and spent a
lot on specially-machined new parts. ‘But, so what?’ he
says. ‘I don’t smoke. When you retire, it’s a nuisance
if you’ve got nothing to do.’ Stefanyk also collects
stationary gas engines, and model trains.
