The photo above shows Mike Moyers’ recently completed
project these three are half scale models of a 1 HP New Holland,
12′ flywheel, 1?’ bore x 2 stroke. ‘I removed the
bottom from the gas tank casting and installed the coil and propane
regulator in the cavity,’ says Mike, who lives at 37301 28th
Ave., So. #31, Federal Way, Washington 98003. He continues,
‘The propane is fed into the fitting lower right in the
base.’
Dee Scott, Box 317, Mound, Minnesota 55364 snapped these shots
at the 1996 Scott-Carver Threshers Steam and Gas Engine Festival.
Both of these tractors were expected to parade daily at the
club’s 33rd annual show, held August 2-4, 1997, near
Jordan. a 1916 Model G 20-40 Oil Pull owned by John Schoening
of Maple Plain, Minnesota.
A 1918 35-70 Minneapolis gas tractor owned by Craig Luthy of
Chaska, Minnesota. The Minneapolis Threshing Machine Company of
Hopkins, Minnesota, built the Minneapolis line of gas tractors.
