Gas Engine Magazine readers are asked to help identify photos of tractors.

The picture of the September-October "What Is It" is not very clear but it looks like a 1 hp Fairbanks Morse "Z" with a Wico Magneto added.

I need some help to identify photos of tractors. Will the readers of the magazine try to identify the tractor on the enclosed print. This picture was taken about 1914 and this tractor was about 25 horsepower. It had a piston in each end of the cylinder. The rear piston was operated by two rods on the outside of the cylinder. These were attached to two crank throws that were opposite to the main throw so the pistons moved in opposite directions, thus balancing each other.

I don't know what kind of tractor this is, but I suppose you fans will get a kick out of studying it.
