FROM THE STEMGAS ARCHIVES

| May/June 1982

At times readers send us material we are unable to fit into the magazine. We've had some of these materials-primarily lists-for some time, and decided it would be a good idea to share them.

What we're planning to do is to make copies of them available to those readers who wish to write for them. We will be charging only .10? a copy per page plus postage to cover our cost. We encourage any of you who have materials to exchange with others to send them to us, and we'll add them to our list. (Be sure that copyrights are cleared where necessary.)

Here is what we have in our files right now. All prices are postpaid.

Fordson Tractor Motor Numbers and Fordson Production Figures. This 4-page listing was sent to us in 1977 by C. Ryman Herr, Jr., of Lebanon, N.J., who obtained it from the Ford Archives. It lists numbers of tractors assembled at Cork, Ireland and at the home plant, from 1917 to 1927, by month. $.60

Briggs & Stratton Models-This two page listing gives approximate manufacturing dates by model, covering a period from 1923 to 1958. When Thomas M. Jensen of Palmyra, N. Y. sent us this listing in 1977, he asked whether someone else might come up with a serial number list!$.40

Briggs & Stratton 4-Cyde Air-cooled Gasoline Motors, Model 'A' Brochure-This 3 page company circular gives specification for the 4-cycle single cylinder L-Head air-cooled engine.$.50
