Yes, we are here!

In times like these our hobbies become lifesavers. At GAS ENGINE MAGAZINE and FARM COLLECTOR, we have been tracking down the most interesting and rare vintage farm machines and collections for more than 80 years combined! That includes researching and sourcing the best books on collectibles available anywhere. Our online store is open and we are here to answer any questions you might have. Our customer service staff is available Monday through Friday from 8a.m.-5p.m. CDT. We can be reached at 1-800-888-9098 or by email. Stay safe!

| June/July 1997

We hope that June will be 'bustin' out all over,' by the time you receive this magazine. As we go to press, our friends in the Midwest are dealing with what we expect will be the final snow of the season and it was debilitating!

Our directories are moving out very fast, but right now we still have them, so if you haven't gotten yours yet, you should order one soon. See the ad on the inside front cover, for a special combo offer with our Farm Museum Directory, which was published in 1996. While you're driving around-this great country of ours in the summer months, these two books can guide you to both engine shows and other farm related events. Also, keep in mind that if there are any changes in show information since the publication of the directory, they will appear in the magazines--see the inside back cover, if you didn't happen to catch them last month.

A special note to Mr. Wendel's column this month. On page 18, there is a picture of a 1906 Famous Vertical, which shows the color scheme. Since this is a frequently sought piece of information, we hope Famous collectors will take note!

Now that spring is here and summer is fast approaching, safety first!
