With this issue, Volume 25, Number 12, GEM completes its twenty-fifth year of publication, and we thank our many supporters.

From time to time, it seems we need to remind our long-time subscribers, and tell our new ones, that we welcome all of your stories. GEM's subscribers are its authors and its advertisers. If you would like to see more stories on a particular subject, let us know, but remember that your own story may be of great interest to others. And although our title is Gas Engine Magazine, we are as much a tractor as a stationary engine publication.

The December 15th deadline for listings in our annual Show Directory is fast approaching-we don't wan't anyone to miss it!

We wish you a joyous holiday season full of family gatherings and simple pleasures.
