FRANK R. SLICHTER, 71, of Casper, Wyoming passed away July 29 after a five-week illness. He was a collector of gas engines and a member of several engine clubs, having been a charter member of Front Range Antique Power Association and Cowboy State Steam and Gas Association. He loved engines and his engine friends and was never too busy to help his many friends with their problems. He and his wife Jean attended many shows each year and always looked forward to the start of show season each spring. He is survived by his wife, one son, and two grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him.

CLIFFORD H. POWELL of Orrtanna, Pennsylvania passed away June 1, 1989. Clifford was the father of Roy F. Powell who passed away October 29, 1988.

Clifford, along with his son Roy and brother Glenn, attended many gas engine shows throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania and it was a pleasure to see the closeness of this family and the respect and pleasure they had with their many gas engine friends. His brother Glenn still attends the shows.

Clifford will be greatly missed by all who knew this quiet gentleman.
