C. J. 'LAD' KREIGER, 71, of Ohio, Illinois passed away Oct. 31, 1988 at his home after a long illness. He left a legacy as a master mechanic and a veteran antique engine collector and restorer.

Lad loved to travel and he had many friends along the way. He was active in the Rollag and Dalton, Minnesota shows and was the guiding influence in the formation and development of our Bureau Valley Antique Club here at Ohio.

He owned and operated Kreiger's garage for 49 years and also farmed. He took great pride in both vocations and still had time to enjoy his friends and family. He is survived by his wife Evelyn, son Leslie of Phoenix, Arizona, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
