Another item found. I did not need it, but I had to have it. We all have heard about all types of wind storms such as tornadoes, hurricanes, whirlwinds and cyclones. This is about a cyclone on wheels.
Fall of 1998 I was at a friend's place looking for a part for my oldest grandson's Briggs engine. As we were going over engines and parts (he has a bunch of small engines), we were in one of the storage areas when I spotted a riding tractor under a couple of push lawn mowers and a couple other items. I asked the fellow what it was, and he said it was a Cyclone. I had never seen one or heard of one before, so I had to have it. He said he would sell it, and after a price I thought was fair, I now own it. You can see by the pictures it is in pretty good shape. It may have had a mower on it at one time. What I like about it, not only is it something different, but it is so solidly built. I should have gotten pictures of it before putting it away for the winter.
I plan on taking it to some shows this year. I am a charter member of West Michigan Old Engine Club. We had our 25 th show August 1998. If any of you are around Scottville, Michigan, August 6-8, 1999, stop in as it will be our 26th year and every year we have something different.
I have another toy I bought last fall and it should be at our show in August, but that's another story.
