Tioga County Early Days new, red, white and blue flag is displayed by Ross Pino and Arland Costly. The flag was designed by Gary Gardner of Bodiless, a club member. It will be flown at the Clubs 11th Annual Show July 7-11 at Whitneyville and in all Bicentennial events and parades in which the club participates. This is my 1939 Model L Case, #4208236. I bought this the summer of 1975, renovated it and put it on display at the 1975 Langdon Pioneer Show. It turned out to be the 'work horse' for the whole show, under the able guiding hand of George Dunlap of Saskatoon, Sask. Courtesy of Arlo Jurney, F3 - 520 - 75 Ave. S.W., Calgary, Alta. T2V OS2

Enclosed is a photo of one of my 'prize' gas engines. I purchased it from a good friend, Clarence Friske of West Salem, Wis. It is a vertical 1904 Stover -5 hp. Serial #C3450, speed 340 rpm. My father-in-law, Orville Sondreal, a mechanic of about 45 years is doing some 'fine' tuning on the Stover. The engine was originally used to run a stone grist or flour mill. I was very lucky to get the original battery box and operator's manual with the engine. I am a member of the 'Coulee Gas Engine Club' of Viroqua, Wis. My father-in-law and I enjoy your magazine very much. Keep up the good work! Courtesy of Gerald C. Johnson, Route 3, Box 93, La Crosse, Wisconsin 54601
