They Were Headed for the Junk Pile!

Here are pictures of two pieces that I was able to salvage from the junk yard.

The old drill press was complete, but very dirty from lying back in the corner of the shop for years. The owner said it was heading for the junk yard, so I was able to buy it from him.

The Champion forge blower was in three different piles. I was able to find all of the piles and establish that they all belonged together, and then I bought all three piles. The original belts were even there.

I enjoyed disassembly, blasting, painting and reassembly, plus the end result. Both are good show pieces, along with my old hit and miss engines.
