This is a photo of a 1936 Maytag Model 92 engine I restored and modified into a two flywheel engine. The left side of the crankcase was modified to the flywheel side bearing housing. So this engine now has four main bearing bushings. The crankshaft was extended by welding the tapered end of a junked crank to a good one. A new gas tank cover was made because the engine is now centered on the gas tank. As you see, it has two spark plug wires, and both flywheels have coils in them. This engine runs real well at 500 rpms.
