Route #1, Box 602, Yadkinville, North Carolina 27055

Our Yadkin County Steam and Gas Show was held again at Sonny Howell's on June 4, 1983. We had approximately 75 gas engines at the show this year. We had more tractors this year than we ever have had and we would like to thank all the exhibitors for bringing their displays.

A couple of new displays that we got 'going' were our Turner Threshing Machine and the Baker Fan.

Sonny built a small pull sled that the children pulled with their pedal tractors. We had a lot of children to participate and they really seemed to enjoy it.

As usual we had the sawmill going along with the rock crusher.

We hope to have the Frick traction engine going by our next show June 2, 1984. Sonny is building a new Oil Pull tractor for the show and wants all the collectors that have built the Oil Pull-type tractors to come to the show next year and be in the parade.
