Rain Dampens Show Grounds... but Not the Spirit of 1995 S.E.K. Engine and Tractor Show

| February/March 1996

The 7th annual Southeast Kansas Old Time Gas Engine and Tractor Club Show was held June 24th and 25th, 1995, at the Crawford County Historical Society Museum grounds.

The show was nearly a one-day event, as rain (about 3 inches) started falling Saturday evening and continued through Sunday.

Saturday's weather was beautiful and drew many exhibitors and a large number of viewers.

We had 192 gas engines, 14 antique tractors, 13 garden tractors, 21 model engines and three gas powered scale tractors.

At the 1995 show we had two 15 HP Reid engines at the show. One is owned by Dale Rice, Pittsburg, Kansas, and the other by Larry Powell, Rogers, Arkansas. Also on display were two miniature balers, one owned by W. W. (Doc) Ogborn, Girard, Kansas, and the other by Ron Schultz, Enid, Oklahoma.
