Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Association

National Vice President, 3848 S. Farm Road 93, Republic, Missouri 65738

As you read this the 1996 show season will be well underway. Just a reminder to make safety everyone's concern at our shows. The National has guidelines for safety and if you do not have a copy, see your local officers for one.

My local Branch #16 held our annual swap meet April 13 and 14. We had good weather and a good turn out. A lot of iron exchanged hands. We had several branches of EDGE&TA represented, with Branch #43 from Granbury, Texas, being the farthest away.

As the National continues to grow, we would like to welcome Branches #71 and #72 into the National. Branch #71Art Hultman, President, 1457 Loomis, Wheatland, Wyoming 82201; Branch #72Donald W. Layton, President, PO Box 16, Riverton, Wyoming 82501.

We are looking forward to the Regional Meet with Branch #35 June 8-9,1996, in Chesapeake, Virginia. Hope to see many of you there.
