Corn Sheller Restoration

| November/December 1995

We heard from Roy Blizzard, Jr., Gandy's Beach Road, Newport, NJ 08345, who sent us these pictures of his current corn sheller restoration.

The sheller was found in the woods in Newport, New Jersey, as shown in photo #1. Photo #2 shows most wood work with all new mortise joints cut and fit. Photo #3 shows progress, which is completed in Photo #4. The only marking found on the sheller is the patent date of April 5, 1892. Photo #5 shows the sheller complete and working well. If anyone knows what make this sheller might be, Roy would greatly appreciate your sharing the information with him.
