Branch 9 Hosts National Meeting

| June/July 1989

516 Cheslock Road, Grants Pass, Oregon 97527

Branch 9 of the Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Association will host the National Meeting at their regularly scheduled annual show on June 17 and 18, 1989, at Pottsville, near Grants Pass, Oregon. Pottsville is an old time town created and built by Senator E.D. 'Debbs' Potts in 1959 in celebration of the Oregon Centennial. The town consists of several buildings including a church, store, library, assay office, laundry, and blacksmith shop. Recently Senator Potts, better known as 'Debbs', built two new structures which house his lifetime collection of Oregon Memories, along with the structures built in '59, which he now calls Old Town. (See show report in May 1989 issue.)
