JAMES P. EVEREST aged 84 of Weaverville, CA passed away Oct. 23,
1987 at his son’s home. He was born 1903 in Hyampom, CA and
resided most of his life in Weaverville. He was retired from TrinCo
Mill where he was supervisor over the planer mill.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Weaverville and
had been a member of Branch 13, EDGE & TA, Western Steam
Friends Assn., Inc.

Jim built many steam and gas models. He willingly shared his
vast amount of knowledge with all who asked him for assistance. He
will be sadly missed by all.

TAYLOR J. MARSHALL, of rural Sycamore, IL passed away on Apr.
16, 1988 at the age of 79.

On his farm, in amongst towering oaks, he provided space for the
Northern Illinois Steam Power Club for 19 years. It was traditional
for him and his wife, Hazel, to lead the parade of steam engines,
tractors and antique vehicles each day of the show.

In addition to being an honorary member of the NISPC, he also
was a member of the United Methodist Church of Sycamore, the
Charter Grove Cemetery Association, an associate member of the
Illinois Sheriff’s Association and was very active in sporting
events, receiving a medal from the Genoa-Kingston girls’
soft-ball team for his support.

He was born on March 28, 1909 in Sycamore Township, the son of
Wilbur and Minnie (Kauffman) Marshall. He married Hazel M. Listy on
June 14, 1930 in Genoa.

He is survived by his wife; two nieces; five great nieces; one
great nephew; three great great nieces and nephews; and one
brother-in-law, Hyland (Norma) Listy of Sycamore.

He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

JOHN DURGALA, age 74, died May 11 following a short illness. He
was a long time member of Southern Tier Antique Gas & Steam
Engine Club of Maine, NY. He was a valuable friend and club member.
He will be greatly missed.
