Wood Art

| November 2005

They are still dragging them out of the woods. I took these photos at the 45th Annual Pageant of Steam in Canandaigua, N.Y., Aug. 11-14, 2005.

This engine is a McCormick-Deering built by International Harvester Co. - a kerosene, gasoline, 6 HP at 550 RPM, no. W3668. It had a sign on it that read: "For 30 years the man said that it was not for sale, I'm going to get it running." I never did find the owner.
