A wonderful Witte ad

The last GEM was great, especially the article about the 50 HP Fairbanks-Morse engine found at the Mount Wilson Observatory. I grew up in Southern California and visited the observatory many times. Too bad your magazine doesn't come out monthly, as I thoroughly enjoy reading it.

I went to a flea market a few weeks ago and ran across three Popular Mechanics magazines from 1934, 1935 and 1936. When I read the magazines, I saw this ad in the 1936 issue for a Witte diesel engine.
