Saturday, January 16, 1993, was the first annual Winter Show for
the Blue Mountain Antique Gas and Steam Engine Association. This
was the project of president Jody Pysher, and my husband, board
member Gregory Rush.

The turnout was great, with 40 exhibitors showing a total of 65
engines, 4 tractors, and 2 antique cars. Some exhibitors from New
Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, were among the diehard engine
people. Visitors from as far away as Ohio came to enjoy the day
also. Even though there was some snow on the ground, the bonfire
along with the free hotdogs and ‘hobo stew’ helped keep the
spirits warm.

This started out as a joke three years ago with everyone
thinking these guys were crazy, until it actually happened this
year. What a success it was! Oh well, guess the joke is on
them!

There were some engines that changed hands, parts for sale and
one dealer selling farm toys and literature.

We would like to say Thank You to all who showed up, and those
who helped to make this show the success that it was. Hope to see
you next January!

Events still to come at Blue Mountain in 1993 are our Summer
Show, July 16, 17, & 18, and our Fall Harvest, October 16 &
17
