Classic Auto Productions has announced that September 20 and
21,1986, will be the dates for ‘Middletown ’86’, their
second annual show. The event, held at the Orange County
Fairgrounds in Middletown, New York, will feature a variety of
attractions.
Exhibits at the show will include steam and gas engines with
related equipment; antique tractors; antique autos; street rods;
custom cars; auto engine related flea market; car (for sale)
corral; arts and crafts; and several special entertainment
attractions.
Last year’s ‘Middletown ’85’ event included
approximately 30 steam and gas exhibitors, 250 auto exhibits, 100
vendor spaces, and 30 cars for sale. These exhibits along with a
clog-dancing demonstration on Sunday, drew an estimated crowd of
7,000 spectators.
Additional attractions are now being planned in order to make
this year’s show an even more exciting event than last
year.
The combination of site (Orange County Fairgrounds home of New
York’s second largest fair) and location (close to the New York
metropolitan area, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and southern New
England) make the show easily accessible to a tremendous number of
engine enthusiasts in the East.
