10 HP engine sold at Walkerville, Ontario. This engine is owned by Harold Gaddye.
Harold Gaddye offers proof positive that Gilson did indeed build engines at Guelph as illustrated by his 10 horsepower model.
A very rare Magnet engine in Gaddye's collection. These were originally built at Guelph, Ontario beginning about 1900. The plant burned out in 1904, with production resuming at Hamilton, Ontario in 1905 and continuing until 1925.
A view of Harold Gaddye's backyard (or at least part of it). Shown here are some of his Goold, Shapley & Muir engines, plus a good many more rare birds.
Harold Gaddye himself, standing beside his 50 HP two-cylinder opposed Goold, Shapley & Muir engine. These engines are extremely rare, and even the best photograph doesn't do justice to the engine builder's art.
