The Oklahoma Red Carpet and Green and Yellow Two-Cylinder Club chapters sponsored the second annual State Two-Cylinder Tractor Show at the Major County Historical Society grounds at Fairview.

This show attracted 90 exhibits and hundreds of spectators. Exhibitors and visitors enjoyed nicely restored antique John Deere tractors in static displays as well as plenty of action that included parades, threshing, baling, plowing, tractor balance beam, and slow races.

Club members also displayed John Deere toys, literature and other collectable items. Persons looking for a tractor project or a hard-to-find part rushed to the Swap Meet with high hopes of finding good deals.

On Friday evening, club members joined for a charter banquet. The Red Carpet and Green and Yellow Chapters received Chapter Charters from Two-Cylinder Club state coordinator, Alvie Grossman.

On Saturday morning 30 loud and obnoxious two-cylinder tractors roared down Main Street as part of the Wranglers Rodeo Parade.

Two-Cylinder Club members are preparing for a six state Regional Tractor Show to be held at the Major County Historical Society grounds in July of 1993. This show will be a big part of the Cherokee Strip Foundation's Centennial Celebration.

In the near future both clubs will meet to start plans for the 1993 Regional Show. Please send any ideas, questions, complaints, or suggestions for the show to Mark Burrell.
