The 12th Annual Fly-In and Threshers Reunion, July 2, 3, 4 1982, Denton, North Carolina, was a success with a record number of both exhibitors and spectators. There were approximately 500 exhibitors of gas, steam and antique tractors for the three-day event. The demonstrations of threshing with horse-power, steam power and oil power along with sawmilling, shingle mill, rock crushing and combining with a 1928 Caterpillar Combine with a 12' header, along with other demonstrations are done on schedule. There are continuous operations of the 'Moonshine Still', gas engines, and the display of steam engines in the exhibition building. A veneer lathe with a 80HP Fairbanks Morse Diesel for power will be added to the list of demonstrations this year. Mso, another day will be added to the event this year.

The newest attraction for the '82 show was the Handy Dandy Railroad. It was in continuous operation during the show.

We would like to say 'Thanks' to all the exhibitors and the folks that help with the activities during the show and invite everybody to come join us for 4 big days, July 1, 2, 3, 4, 1983 at the Fly-In and Threshers Reunion at Denton, N.C.
