A model steam engine, owned by Frank Graves, Bath, N. Y. (Wheeler), displayed in the model tent at the 1967 Reunion of the Pioneer Gas Engine Association, Inc. This engine was made without modern equipment about 1880 by Frank's Dad, George Graves. Most of the working parts are of hardwood. The cylinder is brass and the steam chest and valve are made of babbitt.
