Another rare Fuller & Johnson in the collection is this 1 HP hopper cooled vertical, the majority of F & J's in preservation are horizontal configuration. This one was shipped to its first owner on June 28, 1907.
Verne and Pearly Kinschi with son Brian. The engine is Verne's favourite, the very rare 20 HP Fuller & Johnson 'double efficiency' model, the only side-shaft type built by F & J. It was manufactured in 1914.
Scale models are much sought after mong engine enthusiasts in the USA and sets of castings are readily available. Verne and daughter Susan, are seen with 'the second favourite,' a ' scale model of a 3 HP F & J.
The 10 HP Sandwich is the largest size in the range, it is also quite rare, so much so that people keep wanting to buy it!
Another favorite is this portable Lauson.
An unusual engine in the collection is this Sta-Rite built by Reliance Iron & Engine Co., Racine, Wisconsin.
