UNION THRESHERMEN'S CLUB 8TH ANNUAL NATIONAL ANTIQUE TRACTOR PULL AND THRESHEREE

July 26th and 27th proved to be big days in Symco, Wisconsin, a small Waupaca County community, as the 8th Annual National Antique Tractor Pull was held. This annual event, held the 3rd weekend in July, proved to be another success as over 3,000 people watched old gas and steam tractors pull the eliminator down the 300 foot track. Five classes were held Saturday with over 50 tractors pulling.

Rules for the National Pull are very strict as each tractor is weighed and put into one of five classes by three judges prior to pulling. All weights are marked and secured. Classes included: A - 4000# and under, B -5500# and under, C - 7000# and under D - 8000# and under and unlimited class for steam, oil pulls etc. Tractors must have been built before 1936.
