New Hampshire Engine MeetThe Second Annual Gas Engine Meet was held in Dublin, New Hampshire, on September 30, 1973, when the weatherman was more than good to us with plenty of sunshine and warm breezes. There were about 115 engines -- more than double the entries of last year -- on display, including steam, hot air, and many varieties of gasoline. There were also about a dozen antique cars on display. The Dublin Fire Department served a beanhole bean dinner complete with ham and all the fixin's. A big thank you goes out from all in attendance to the fire company for a very good meal. This meet is getting to be quite popular in New England as all of the New England states were represented. Really getting into the swing of things, Philip and Robert Harnden brought their engines to the meet all the way up from Massachusetts in a Model T Trailer towed by a 1926 M6del T Ford Roadster.
