THE GOLDEN ROLL

Filmore Avenue, Erie, Pennsylvania was born in Green Township on September 10, 1901 and died December 30, 1972. He was a member of the Pioneer Steam and Gas Engine Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania. He was an ardent steam fan. He owned several small engines in immaculate condition in his basement.

ARTHUR C. DOUGAN, 60, of 3684 Backus Road, Harborcreek, Pennsylvania passed away December 10, 1972, in the house he was born in on November 13, 1912. He was a retired fruit farmer and thresher. He spent 22 years doing threshing and at the time of his death still had an operating thresher. Mr. Dougan was a member of the Tri-State Historical Steam Engine Association.
