In Memoriam

Albert Fuqua Jr., Springfield, Term., died Nov. 21, 2001, at the Tennessee Christian Medical Center.

Albert was born Feb. 25, 1924, to the late Albert and Cassie Person Fuqua Sr. of Adairville, Ky. He was graduated from San Marcus Military Academy in 1942 and served in the Army Air Corp during WW II. He was a retired farmer, businessman and old-time music promoter. He produced Hoot Owl Junction at the Tennessee State Fair from 1989 to 1994.

He was widely known for his collection of antique tractors, farm tools and equipment.

Albert is survived by a son, Albert Fuqua III of Springfield, Tenn; a daughter, Natalie Kaye Fuqua Tittle of Pegram, Tenn; and four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
