What's That Again?By T. J. ShipmanR.R. 2, Box 371-12 Buckhannon, West Virginia 26201 Lately, I've had a few minutes bumpin' together. Had to slow down--pump trouble, you see. Had time to ponder a few things. Maybe someone has the right answers to the following. This started the day one of my friends came into the shop. "Got any parts for a Witty?" "A Whatty?" "No, a Witty." Then it came to me--he meant a Witte. "Not at this time, maybe later." Now, I always referred to these engines as a Witt. Another one of these is a Jaeger. I've heard them called "Jagger" or a "Yayger." I always called them "Jay-ger." Which is right? And, of course, there's a Wico. Is it Wee-co or Wy-co? I always went by the former, myself. A sure sign of that strange affliction called Enginitis... 820 of 887 characters shown.
