Oliver Green at WapakonetaBy Col. Norm Stuckey4777 Upper Valley Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45424 The Oliver Gang, a collector's club with members principally from Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan, was instrumental in the fine showing of 101 Oliver tractors and other Oliver machinery at the Wapakoneta, Ohio, show held May 26, 27, and 28, 1995. From the small 60 standard to the giant 2655 and the models in between, the tractors were in their show dress. Club president Bill Gamble, assisted by his wife Margaret, brought seven tractors. There was no shortage of enthusiasm for Oliver collecting. Bill Campbell brought equipment all the way from Kinmount, Ontario, Canada. The Oliver Gang met for the banquet at 5:00 p.m. with 90 people enjoying a fine meal and a fun time. Jim Vickroy of Lancaster, Ohio, played and sang a song titled "The Oliver '88" which he wrote in memory of his father. ...812 of 1375 characters shown.
