HONORED AT MEETING

PORTLAND - Officers and members of the Tri-State Gas Engine and Tractor Association, Inc., held their annual meeting here at the Immaculate Conception school and honors were paid to the club president, WoodyTurner, and Joe Fahne-stock, writer for The Dayton News and The Gas Engine Magazine.

Both men were presented plaques for their outstanding work in making the 1969 show the largest in the middlewest. There were over fifty antique tractors and more than 300 gas engines on display with practically all of them running Saturday and Sunday of the show. In addition there were 49 dealers for the flea market, a museum of antique watches, Indian relics and numerous other antique displays.

Registrations at the gate revealed that persons attended the local show from eighteen states and came from 333 towns and cities from ...
