PUBLISHER'S LETTERBy Gerry LestzHappy New Year! With the January issue, we begin the 27th year of publication of GEM. As we enter 1992, we are in the middle of a transition to a new computer system. This has been a trifle challenging, as all such changes are. However, the purpose of the change is to enable us to provide even better service to our customers, so please bear with us during this time. You may have received your last issue (December 1991) a bit later than usual, but we don't anticipate any further delays. Our 1992 Steam and Gas Engine Show Directory is well underway, and by the time this issue reaches you, the deadline for your ads and listings will have passed. We expect a smooth production that will end with a printed directory at the end of February. If you order the directory now (it's still only $5.00), do remember that it may not arrive until mid-March. And again, Happy New Ye... 809 of 813 characters shown.
