Another Ellis...Ralph Counts, Jr. of Rt. 1, Box 180, Luthersville, Georgia restored this 2 HP headless Witte. Counts says it's all original except for a muffler John Woodson's Fuller & Johnson pump engine seen at the New Mexico State University's 1st showsee page 16 for more photos from this show. Ellis engines are quite rare, and this one is owned by C. D. . Zickefoose of Richmond, Virginia. Another Ellis engine this one owned by C. D. Zickefoose of 8508 Academy Rd., Richmond, Virginia 23229. It is a 2-cycle engine which runs well and develops quite a bit of power. An adjustment on the fuel intake port is rated from one to three horsepower. Speed is controlled by a fly-ball governor that adjusts the air intake into the crank-case. It carries the number 1055.
