CHEMUNG SHOWS AT SHOPPING MALL

The Chemung Valley Old Timers' had a very nice display at the Arnot Mall on March 24, 25 and 26.

The Arnot Mall is located between Horseheads, New York and Big Flats on Route 17. This is a large mall consisting of about 100 stores.

The members had on display three tractors, one fire truck, one antique hearse which was on sleighs and was horse drawn.

Two washing machines which were the old type with a hand crank on the top. A complete set of Maytag gasoline engines was displayed by Pete Spencer of Elmira Heights, New York. There was one engine displayed which was built in Elmira Heights by Field Force Pump Co. Several other gasoline engines were displayed by many collectors.

Ted Kerrick had an antique victrola on display which was in very good working condition. The Kerrick family also had a 1926 Oakland car.
